Six Months Old

I have been so behind that I never posted Charlotte's 6 month picture. Since she turns seven months shortly, I figured I better get it up. She continues to grow so fast and is a health little girl. At her checkup she was 25 inches and 14 pounds so 41st percentile for height, 14th for weight, and 71st for head. Here are some things I want to remember about her at six months:
-Ate rice cereal for the first time (she is the CUTEST little eater ever)
- First time in the ocean
- Sitting up by herself
- Loves walks outside and finally likes a stroller
- First time swimming (well not in a hot tub)
- Loves sitting by the waterfall in our complex
- Loves her binky and her soft blankets
- Likes to read books
- Likes to play with toys, especially anything that makes noise
- Love when people sing to her and sometimes "sings" herself to sleep
- Loves, Loves Loves being around people day and night (unfortunately). She sleeps like a rock in our bed. She doesn't like to be left alone
- Not quite crawling yet but likes to roll around on the floor
- And her cute blonde hair has finally grown back

Running and a Roadtrip

We are loving being back in Utah...although is feels like we have been gone more than we been at home since we got here. It has been a fun and busy few weeks.

The weekend we moved home Matt and I ran in the Ogden Marathon and Half Marathon. Matt did the half and rocked it. His time was 1:43 his best ever! I ran the full and it was terrible J I felt so good all through training but the real thing about killed me. It was so much harder than the last marathon I ran but I actually ran it two minutes faster. Recovery was much better though so at least one plus. Well that and the fact that it was an amazing course. If you ever are interested in running a marathon I highly recommend Ogden. The view is incredible and almost all of the 26 miles are downhill (it’s a good thing or I really might have died). My family brought Charlotte to the finish line to cheer us on. Soooo glad its over!!!

The week after we got home we went down to San Diego so Matt could go to the Pediatric Dental Conference. It was really an excuse to go to San Diego but he did make it to the conference one day. We had tons of fun. Matt's sister Christi came down for the weekend to keep me company while Matt was busy. We managed to do a lot in four days...Balboa Park, Sea World, La Jolla, visit the San Diego Temple Coronado Island shopping in the Gaslamp district and the beach a couple of times.

They have a petting pool where you can pet the dolphins. We didn't know the little things love to
splash water at you. I was soaked and freezing the rest of the day. This was a forced smile.
